“Manzoni” Mechanical Press – Weight: 18.000 Kg – Power: 200 ton. – Type of activity: stamping metal parts. The machine couldn’t work faster than 40 strokes per minute, because its vibrations disturbed its surrounding (the glasses, other machines, the roof and the other parts of the building). The model of QUIVERDAMPER selected was M180.

vibration of the press has been detected before the installation of the
vibration dampers with the instrument “Vibrotest 60”,
serial n° “0022 FGA”, manufactured by Schenck Vibro GMBH,

Then, we started the installation of QUIVERDAMPER.
Pictures 4 and 5 – Raise of the machine with a hydraulic jack, to install the press mounts.
Picture 6 – Leveling the machine.
Pictures 7 and 8 – Placement of the vibration dampers.
Picture 9 – After the installation we detected once again the vibration value on the ground.
Picture 10 – The vibration value was decreased to 0,67 m/s² circa, thanks to the installation of our vibration mounts.
Picture 11 – The vibration dampers QUIVERDAMPER (Patented) has allowed an increase of the machine speed to 70 strokes per minute because the initial vibration problems were eliminated.
